Building off of Jeff’s earlier post, here are the numbers for the AR-Gov race (h/t Blake):
Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe has more than $2.7 million cash-on-hand. His campaign reported raising more than half a million dollars in the month of June alone. Mr. Beebe’s opponent, Republican Jim Keet, has far less money in the bank. He raised more than $116,000 during this reporting period and has $59,084 cash-on-hand.
Translation: This whole “Obama/Pelosi/Beebe” narrative that Keet is running on is falling on deaf ears; no one is buying the idea of Mike Beebe as a willing foot soldier for the UNRELENTING APPROACHING ARMY OF BIG GOVERNMENT LIBERAL TAKEOVER (UAAoBGLT for short).
